About the Journal
Interapia – Journal of Clinic, Culture and Mental Sciences is a digital, open-access scientific journal published three times a year (April, August and December), dedicated to the critical and interdisciplinary dissemination of content related to the human mind, subjectivity, and contemporary clinical practices. The journal fosters dialogue between psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, neuroscience, philosophy, education, art, culture, and public health, positioning itself as a space for symbolic listening, ethical reflection, and high-level theoretical production.
Focus and Scope
Interapia welcomes original articles, theoretical essays, experience reports, literature reviews, and critical book reviews that contribute to:
-
deepening symbolic and subjective clinical practice;
-
critically analyzing mental health care practices;
-
articulating psychic theory and cultural production;
-
developing ethical, transformative educational practices in the field of mental sciences.
The journal values transdisciplinary, interinstitutional, and multicultural approaches.
Open Access Policy
Interapia follows the Open Access model, meaning all articles are freely available to the public without access restrictions or fees. There is no submission fee; a publication fee of R$ 390.00 is due only after acceptance, and it is fully waived in the cases set out in the Editorial Policy. Open access fosters the democratization of knowledge and its global dissemination.
Volumes 1 to 3 (2023–2025)
The articles in these volumes were accepted by the previous editors without the reviews being recorded, and the journal does not claim that they underwent double-blind review. Each text was read in full by the current editors, had its authorship confirmed, had its references checked one by one, and was standardised to the current norms without any change to its argument. Processing dates that were lost are stated as missing, not estimated. The double-blind process described below applies to submissions received from 2026.
Editorial Policy
Published every four months, with continuous submission, double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers, the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence and COPE guidelines. See the 2026 Editorial Policy (PDF, in Portuguese) and the Author Guidelines.
