Transference and affectivity in the school environment: a psychoanalytic view of the teacher–student relationship

ABSTRACT
This article offers a psychoanalytic reflection on transference and affective bonds between teachers and students in the school environment. Drawing from the author’s experience as an educator, it analyzes situations in which students express deep emotional needs and symbolic projections toward the teacher. Based on Freud, Lacan, and Winnicott, the study concludes that the school is also a space of subjectivation and listening.
